CCTV PIPELINE INSPECTIONS

The QTS Group has a fleet of CCTV survey units which include road, off road and road rail vehicles. All of the CCTV reporting systems are in WINCAN.

The WINCAN Software provides a professional clearly interpreted report, which can be adjusted to suit every clients needs. It includes photographs taken directly from the survey video and video clips to allow the client to ascertain the pipeline condition. Reports will be provided in CD ROM or DVD allowing them to view and print a full range of reports.

Drain Tracing
A module containing a transmitter is introduced into the pipe attached to the CCTV crawler unit. As the crawler travels through the pipe a transmitter gives off a signal, a hand held receiver then picks up the transmitted signal and pinpoints the position of the pipe. This application will be of particular interest to construction companies developing sites with existing drainage. Sonar tracing used in conjunction with CCTV can positively identify the source, condition and route of existing drains.
